Get the app on your phone and turn on notifications — you'll hear about it the second someone tags you in Trash Talk, when you're off to a hot start, when the week's results are in, and if it's Sunday and you still haven't picked.

iPhone

Safari

Has to be done in Safari — Chrome and other browsers can't install apps on iPhone.

  1. 1Open gentlemenspool.com in Safari.
  2. 2Tap the Share icon (square with an arrow up), scroll down, tap Add to Home Screen, then Add.
  3. 3Close Safari and open the pool from its new icon on your Home Screen — not from Safari.
  4. 4Log in, then tap Chat.
  5. 5Tap 🔔 Enable Notifications, then Allow when iOS asks.
Needs iOS 16.4 or newer (2023 software or later). Check under Settings → General → Software Update.

Android

Chrome

Installing isn't required here like it is on iPhone — but it's worth doing anyway.

  1. 1Open gentlemenspool.com in Chrome.
  2. 2Tap the ⋮ menu (top right) and tap Install app — or tap the install banner if Chrome already offered it.
  3. 3Tap Install, then open the pool from its new icon.
  4. 4Log in, then tap Chat.
  5. 5Tap 🔔 Enable Notifications, then Allow.
Installing gets you the full-screen app and a reliable icon badge — notifications themselves will even work from a regular Chrome tab.
